Using Emotional Intelligence to engage multigenerational diverse talent
In today’s globally competitive corporate environment, many organisations have recognised the critical importance of diversity. However, to realise the benefits, we need to learn how to appreciate our unique preferences, behaviours and motivators, as well as collaborate across five different generations. This presents leaders with many opportunities — and even more challenges, where traditional paternalist, one-size-fits-all style of management does not engage the hearts and minds to motivate multigenerational diverse employees.
Social and Emotional skills equip managers with the competencies to meet individual employee needs, enabling their organisations to offer an environment that motivates and develops employees despite differences in the workplace.
In this seminar we will discuss the EQ competencies that can enable organisations to cultivate cultures that enhance inclusion and employee motivation, and how we can develop these skills.
