PILAA (Pre-Image Learning and Action) was founded in 2017, with the aim of using the visual arts to unlock the bigger picture in all matters of equality, diversity and inclusion. We are critical friends to our clients, where we create meaningful change through training and education. We offer interactive workshops, team building away days, ongoing Professional Development and importantly, we create visual campaigns on EDI related projects.
As a team we have strong research backgrounds. We are creatives. We are past and present educators, and we are active in the advancement of our field. We regularly promote our field on TV, radio and exhibitions. We publish extensively and are acclaimed engaging speakers.
From unconscious bias training, anti-racism training, disability, neurodiversity and accessibility awareness, LGBTQ+ inclusive welcomes, effective leadership and mentoring, to implementing equality, diversity and inclusion agendas in organisations through policy work, we give organisations the tools to thrive and empower themselves in their journey towards inclusivity.
